The busy, busy puppy...

Hello Misty Creek lovers! It's me again. I have been a busy, busy puppy - there is just so much to learn and so much to see in this big world!

House-training is not as easy as you might think. Particularly when it's Christmas, which means lots of visitors, lots of cuddles, LOTS of food being cooked, (busy, busy foster family). Sometimes it just slips the mind that I have to go until it's too late. Now that things have settled, I expect my training will get right back on track.

I am VERY good at not touching the Christmas tree (as long as the cat isn't under there - I want to know what she's doing under there).

I am getting pretty good at fetch - which comes naturally to me since I love to play with balls. They are my favourite toy.

I'm also good at giving hugs. See how I'm giving my sister Matsu a hug?

Interested in your own puppy hugs? I have an unlimited supply waiting for you.

A new foster home...

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! Matsu and I have moved into a new foster home with two resident dogs and a cat (which I LOVE to bug).

I'm crate trained and still working on house training. Sometimes when I get really excited I forget and pee, but I'm working on holding it when I'm so excited.
I love to help myself to all of the cool toys in the toy box in my foster home (though I haven't learned how to put the toys back IN the box yet). I also love to wrestle with my sister Matsu. I even pretend to let her win once in awhile (because I'm such a good sister).
That's all I have for you today. Check back soon!
Love Luna

Time for an update!!!

Big news! My sister Matsu and I have moved out of Misty Creek and into a foster home!

I am learning all of the rules about being in a house - crate training and kennel training have started.

I am a go-gettum sort of puppy - I mastered the stairs on day ONE, leaving my sister Matsu in the dust.

My foster mom calls me an extrovert - I guess because I'm so curious and outgoing.

I love toys - particularly balls. I have already started to practise retrieving them for my foster family.

I am extremely friendly and love to soak up all of the attention I can get. My foster mom says I am extremely cute with black markings around my neck making it look like I have a necklace on and markings around our eyes that make me look like I'm wearing goggles. Perfect for a little lady.

If you'd like to come down and see just how lovely I am, please contact Misty Creek to come down and meet me. I'll be waiting.

Shoot for the moon - and if you miss you'll still be among the stars.....

My name is Luna (named after the moon) and I'd like to say hello!

I am a young female Heinz 57 dog - once I'm all grown up I should be a nice medium sized dog.

I have the cutest black snout which makes it look like I dipped my face in an inkwell - but I assure you it's natural.

I was born August 17th - and rescued with my mom Scrunchie and my siblings three days later. Life is good here at Misty Creek - but I've heard it gets even better once you find your forever home!

If you'd like to come and meet me, please contact Misty Creek. I can't wait to find my forever home.
